A Plus B Equals C: A Poker Player’s Worth is Determined by His/Her Bottom Line

[ English | Deutsch | Español | Français | Italiano ]

A few poker techniques will amaze you with their simplicity. This is one of them. Note your results, every time you play.

Cathedral of holdem Verse #three:

Thou have to record your successes and thy squanders; for it is the sum total of all a mans accomplishments which develop his/her bottom line.

How detailed is your decision. I usually believe that hourly info and that style of personal detail is wasted. Basically work out how much up you are and what amount (if any) you’ve taken out. Certainly, if you are beaten, note that too, despite how much it hurts.

Do not forget to write down what type of poker you are competing in, if that’s crucial to you. (In my experience, most folks stick to what they know and do not experiment. If all you note is winnings, loses and withdrawals, you’re way in front of almost all players around!)

Provide yourself achievable ambitions, like a ‘dream’ goal (new vehicle, holiday or whatever). When you take out, mark the money taken out to your dream counter. The greater the success you have, the nearer that dream will be!
